
Zhu Xinyun
Graduated from the Drama Department of the PLA Academy of Art, Zhu Xinyun is a mainland Chinese actor and director, and former head of the Actor Troupe of the August 1st Film Studio of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
He played the role of Pan Dongzi in the classic children's film Sparkling Red Star. His other acting works include: Lightning Action (1987), The Black-faced Son-in-law (1988), Jing Tao Hai Lang (2003), The Eighth Route Army (2005), The Horse Caravan Comes with Bells Ringing in the Mountains (2010), Sky Eye Storm (2019), A Myriad of Lights (2023), Years in the Northwest (2024), and One Heart Under Heaven (2024).
In 2011, he planned the feature film Flying to the Sky; in 2013, he wrote, directed and starred in the children's film Sunny Faces; in 2020, he directed the feature film I Am a Veteran.
