Synopsis:
In 1998, the Czech national team won the Olympic gold medal in ice hockey, igniting the passion of fans everywhere. Every child dreamed of becoming like Jágr or Hašek. Eleven-year-old Dom is one of them—eager to play hockey but hindered by his parents’ financial struggles and doubts about his abilities. Encouraged by his grandfather, Dom and his friend Honza form a hockey team. Made up of diverse, underestimated kids, the team endures early setbacks but gradually earns respect and recognition.
