Synopsis:
A-Juan, an ordinary young man who moves to Shanghai to make a living, agrees to represent a declining traditional martial arts school in the “Shanghai Fight Night” tournament in order to earn money for his father’s medical treatment. To succeed, he must overcome not only powerful opponents but also deep-rooted prejudice—and, ultimately, his own fears.
A passionate and visually stunning sequel to I Am What I Am (雄狮少年), the film blends traditional Chinese martial arts with modern urban energy. It celebrates perseverance, courage, and the indomitable spirit of ordinary people striving for dignity and self-worth in a rapidly changing world.
