Synopsis:
Elementary school student Tashi rescues a stray dog, only to find that after being adopted, the dog is also given his name — “Tashi.” Becoming a target of ridicule among his classmates, the boy plans to kill the dog but accidentally blinds it instead. Haunted by guilt for years and suffering from a worsening eye condition himself, Tashi grows up to become a renowned writer. When he returns to his hometown, he finally uncovers the truth about what really happened all those years ago.
