CICFF 2024 Kicks Off: Premiere Screenings Now Open for Ticket Purchase

As the countdown to the 17th China International Children's Film Festival (CICFF) begins, Chengdu Pacific Cinema (Wangfujing Branch), as the premiere screening venue, has officially released the film schedule. Starting today, audiences can visit the Tao Piaopiao platform, select Chengdu as their city, and follow the cinema to access detailed film information and enjoy early bird ticket offers.

This 17th edition of CICFF, first launched in 1989, will take place in a dual-city format—Chengdu and Jinan—with both cities hosting screenings. In addition to theatrical releases, CICFF 2024 will also include sub-venues hosting forums, filmmaker Q&As, campus screenings, and community outreach events.


A total of 35 films will be screened during the festival:

  • 20 outstanding Chinese productions

  • 15 carefully selected international titles

The full screening plan will be gradually announced starting from the National Day holiday. We encourage teachers, parents, and film lovers to stay tuned for updates on schedules and Q&A events.
