The 11th China International Children’s Film Festival (CICFF) is held for the purpose of encouraging interaction and increasing cooperation between children’s films in different countries. By this film festival Chinese, a newer understanding will grow between Chinese children’s films and the all parts of the world, thus contributing to the betterment of the world’s children’s film industry.

Article 1: Organizers

                  The China Children’s Film Association (CCFA)

All processes concerning the festival, including preparation, organization and execution of it, are conducted by the Organizing Committee of the 11th CICFF.

Article 2: The 11th CICFF will be held from May 31th to June 4th, 2011

Article 3: The 11th CICFF will be held in Jiangyin City，Jiangshu Province

Article 6: The Selection of Awards

1、	International Jury

International Jury，composed of 12 famous children’s film professionals in the world, is separated into two sub-juries：“Feature Film”and“Animation Film & Children’s Documentary". Awards will be announced at the awards ceremony.

2、Children’s Jury 
The jury consists of 200 children from middle and primary schools. The children’s jury will vote to decide the following honors:
1)	My Favorite Feature 
2)	My Favorite Animation
3)	My Favorite Child Actor/Actress

Article 7: General Criteria for Participation:

1) All films for participation MUST be healthy in content and suitable for children’s viewing 
2) All films for participation MUST be produced after 1st May，2009
3) Feature films and Animations MUST be shot in the format of 35mm film or Digit Beta, with length of no less than 70 minutes 
4) Children documentaries and Short-Animations MUST be made in conventional techniques, with length of no longer than 20 minutes
5) All films for participation MUST be printed in English subtitles

Article 8: Items for application:

1) The participants should fill out the On-line Application Form (http://www.cicfif.cn) or send the entry form to the Organizing Committee before 1st February, 2011
2) The DVD of the film should be sent to the Organizing Committee before 6th February, 2011

Article 9: 
The Selection Committee of CICFF will preview all applicants’ works, and choose the top 30 Children's films (including Feature, Animation, Short-Film and Documentary) from all applications for the Panorama.

Article 10: 
The Organizing Committee will send a formal invitation to all the filmmakers of the selected films. The following materials should be submitted to the Organizing Committee for each film within one month after receiving the invitation:

1) The original print (film or digital) of the film 
2) Publicity materials (DVD)：posters, photo gallery, credits, story outline, photos and biography of director and leading actors. (in English)
3) Trailers to be broadcasted in TV and website during the period of festival
4) 6 posters (in English).

Article 11: Fees (Traffic and Accommodation expenses)

Once the feature or animation film is selected in the Competition, TWO representatives will be invited to the 11th CICFF. Their airline tickets and the accommodations during the period of festival will be offered by the Organizing Committee.

Once the short-animation or children documentary is selected in the Competition, ONE representative will be invited to the 11th CICFF. His/Her airline ticket and accommodations during the period of festival will be offered by the Organizing Committee.

Once the film is accepted to the exhibition, ONE representative will be invited to the 11th CICFF. His/Her accommodations during the period of festival will be offered by the Organizing Committee.

Article 12: Participants will bear the costs of shipment and insurance from the print's origin to the Organizing Committee. The Festival will cover the costs of returning and the insurance of the print of the film from its reception to its dispatching to its origin. 
Should a print be damaged or lost during this period, the Insurance Company will compensate based on the value indicated by the producer on the entry form.

Article 13：Copyright Statement
Participation in the Festival implies adherence to the regulations. It is the responsibility of producers, distributors, or other organizations submitting a film to ensure that they are legitimately entitled to enter a film in the Festival.

Article 15: Other Information
1) The Organizing Committee will return the print to its appointed address within 2 weeks after the end of the festival. 
2) No film selected may be withdrawn for any reason from the Festival once its participation has been officially confirmed by the film sender.
